Intern Corner
If you are a college student interested in supporting military families through an internship, please send your resume and area of interest to info@militaryfamily.org.

“I loved my time interning at NMFA. You will never find a more supportive, collaborative, or engaging work environment than the one at NMFA. I learned so much from the amazing people at the organization and made connections that will last a lifetime, all while making a visible impact on the military community. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would start at NMFA sooner!” — Elena Ashburn
A NMFA, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the fiercest advocates for military families and learn from their wealth of knowledge and expertise. From executing programs to promoting the organization on social media, I have had hands-on experience in making tangible change for my community as an integral part of NMFA’s work, not merely as a supporting figure. Throughout my entire internship, I not only felt supported as a worker and learner but valued as a person. — Mathew Oh
