In consideration for entry into the Contest, and receipt of the Prize, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledge, I agree to the following:

I recognize that I will be notified either by Direct Message or Email and will have 24-48 hours to respond, otherwise I forfeit my award.

There are certain prize conditions and restrictions stated in the Official Rules, which I must agree to as a condition of accepting a prize in the Operation Purple at Home Contest. I accept the conditions on award of the prizes in this Contest understanding that there are no substitutions of prizes and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value. In acknowledging the receipt of a prize, I declare that I meet contest eligibility requirements and understand the conditions and restrictions.

I give permission irrevocably and in perpetuity to National Military Family Association (‘NMFA’), without compensation to me to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display and publicly use the photographic/video images taken of me and/or my dependents and minor children.  NMFA shall have all rights, title and interest to the image(s) and the copyrights thereto and all the related rights free and clear of all encumbrances.

If selected as a Grand Prize Winner, I agree to share a photo of me and/or my family, including my dependents and minor children, taken during travel made possible by the Operation Purple at Home Grand Prize. The photo must be uploaded to the Operation Purple at Home Facebook page or emailed to NMFA (insert email address) no later than December 31,2020. In addition, I will consider sharing a 30-second or more video of our travel made possible by this prize.

I acknowledge and agree that I may be taxed for the fair market value of the Prize. I understand that NMFA must issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for prizes that are at least $600, whether individually or in aggregate, and that to receive the prize, I must first provide to NMFA information required for the form, including my taxpayer identification number.

NMFA makes no warranties whether express or implied regarding the Prize. I acknowledge and agree that the Prize is not manufactured or sold by NMFA and that use of the prize is at my own risk. NMFA provides the Contest and Prize “as is,” and disclaims all warranties with respect to the Prize and Contest, including warranties for merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or any warranties imposed by law.

I hereby release, covenant not to sue, and discharge NMFA and Wounded Warrior Project (‘WWP’), their respective affiliates and employees, officers, directors and agents of each (collectively “Releasees”) from (a) any claim in respect to the conduct of the contest or the award of the prize, or in connection with the use of my name, photo, voice, and likeness, including but not limited to claims for libel, false light, right of privacy and right of publicity, and (b) any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses (including attorney’s fees) incurred for or due to taxes owed by me, or due to any personal injury to me or others, or damage to property owned by me or others which injury or damage may arise in connection with the contest, the prize awarded or its use. I also waive all claims, demands, damages, actions, or suits of any nature or legal basis against Releasees and their successors or assigns arising from any accident, injury or alleged injury, including death, and property damage or loss that occurs incident to travel associated with this prize.

I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and each of them from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) incurred for or due to taxes owned by me, or due to any personal injury to, or damage to property owned by me, members of my household or family, the agents, employees, contractors, visitors and guests of any of us and any other persons, which injury or damage may arise in connection with this contest.

Operation Purple Camp

Eastern 4-H Center is owned and operated by NC State University. The Center's staff is dedicated to providing every camper an opportunity to feel accepted, valued, and cared about as a member of the summer camp community. Creating friendships and a sense of safety are as important to us as the activities we teach. Our vision is to establish an enjoyable and exciting summer camp program that contributes to the development of each camper's character, along with the development of important life skills. Our summer camp experience enables campers to learn these skills while doing a variety of traditional summer camp activities, such as kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, learning about nature, team challenge course, sports and games, arts and crafts, and archery. Eastern 4-H Center is also outfitted with modern recreational facilities and lodgings to make campers feel comfortable during their stay. We hope your camper will join us for a fun filled week.
