TRICARE is the Department of Defense worldwide health care program for uniformed service members, retirees, and their families and survivors. TRICARE has several health plan options to meet the needs of its beneficiary population. Understanding TRICARE and all its parts can be a daunting task, especially if you are just starting out as a military family member. Even those family members who have been using it on a regular basis can find it challenging. This section will provide you with information that will allow you to make an educated decision on which TRICARE options are right for you and your family. TRICARE is the military's health care benefit covering our Nation's military families worldwide. The benefit covers health care, dental, and pharmacy services for our active duty service members, active duty family members, National Guard and Reserve members along with their eligible family members, military retirees and their eligible family members, survivors of deceased service members and their eligible family members, and certain former spouses of active duty and retired service members.

How can you make them work together in a way that is best for you and your family? The information included in this site will help you answer that question and many more.
