Central Texas College has one $1,000 scholarships available exclusively through NMFA. This military spouse scholarship is available to new CTC students and can be used for any educational path at CTC. Applications are available January 1, 2018 through March 31, 2018. Chicago School of Professional Psychology
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology offers potential scholarships of $7,500 for Bachelor’s degrees ($2,500 for degree completion), $8,500 for Master’s degrees and $16,500 for doctoral degrees exclusively to eligible NMFA registrants and new students. Current/continuing students are not eligible. Fleet Reserve Association
The Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) Education Foundation will present at least one $2,000 scholarship annually to the spouse of a Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard service member registered with NMFA. The spouse must be pursuing a college degree. Apply before April 15, 2017. Select NMFA in the “How’d you hear about us” section. Indian Health Service
Indian Health Service The Indian Health Service (IHS) offers three different scholarships for American Indian and Alaska Native students in order to educate and train health professionals to staff Indian health programs. Military spouses are eligible to apply as long as they meet all the eligibility requirements. The IHS Scholarship Program begins accepting applications in mid-December.
International Relations Online
American University’s top-ranked School of International Service offers online Master of Arts and Executive Master’s programs in International Relations. These programs teach students a foundation in international relations topics and an interdisciplinary specialization. NMFA registrants are eligible for a $7,500 scholarship when they enroll. International SOS, committed to the delivery of quality health care and medical management services overseas, believes in making it easier for individuals to work and grow on an international scale. International SOS is supporting NMFA with up to 9 scholarships to military spouses stationed overseas pursuing his or her education in a medical related field. Kansas State University Global Campus has two $1,000 scholarships available exclusively through NMFA. Military spouse scholarships are available to degree-seeking students admitted to a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program through K-State Global Campus. National Health Service Corps
Are you studying to be a Physician (MD or DO), Dentist, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse-Midwife, Physician Assistant, or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)? If you are accepted/enrolled at an accredited U.S. school, you can apply to the National Health Service Corps scholarship program! The scholarship pays tuition, fees, other educational costs, and provides a living stipend in return for a commitment to work at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site in a medically underserved community.
NURSE Corps Scholarship
Are you studying to be a nurse? If you are you accepted or enrolled in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or graduate nursing program at an accredited U.S. school (including RN to BSN, RN to MSN-NP, or Direct Entry MSN-NP programs) you can apply to receive funding for tuition, fees, and other educational costs in exchange for working at an eligible NURSE Corps site upon graduation.
Nursing@Georgetown is an academically rigorous, evidence-based program that culminates in a Master of Science degree in Nursing. The program is delivered online by Georgetown University’s nationally ranked School of Nursing & Health Studies. $7,500 scholarships are available to eligible NMFA registrants.

UNC Master of Accounting online
The online Master of Accounting program from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School provides students with a deep understanding of critical accounting principles, preparing them for leadership roles on corporate finance teams and within public accounting firms. Eligibility for $7,500 scholarship is dependent on NMFA registration. Only new applicants eligible.
University of North Carolina Wilmington has a $1,000 scholarship available exclusively for military spouses seeking an undergraduate degree. UNCW Student Veterans Organization Scholarship for Military Spouses is available for new and existing students. In addition, UNCW has scholarships amounting to $7,000 that NMFA registered military spouses are eligible to apply for.
United Concordia Dental
United Concordia Dental (UCD) – for nearly two decades, UCD has proudly administered dental benefits for the military community. UCD is honored to further this commitment through awarding at least 20 scholarships for military spouses pursuing dental hygiene ($1,000) or dental assisting ($500) educations. Spouses can apply to NMFA between May 1, 2017 – June 30, 2017.
University of Maryland University College
UMUC provides eight (8) scholarships for up to 1,500.00 each, exclusively through the National Military Family Association to Spouses of Active Duty, Reservist and/or National Guard service members. The scholarship is to cover tuition and fees for up to six credit hours for the Spring 2018 semester and is available to new or prospective students who will be seeking a first undergraduate degree at UMUC. Applications will be accepted now through January 8, 2018. Spouses must be registered with NMFA and must complete an application with UMUC to be eligible.
The USC Rossier School of Education offers select graduate degree programs delivered online including a Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Arts in Teaching – TESOL and Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership.
