American Red Cross: Military Services
This site provides information on Red Cross support for military families. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, the Red Cross quickly sends emergency communications to deployed service members on behalf of their family.

The Department of Defense State Liaison Office seeks to engage and educate state policymakers on quality of life issues impacting military families.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
