Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Website
DoDEA operates 194 schools in 14 districts located in 12 foreign countries, seven states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. All schools within DoDEA are fully accredited by U.S. accreditation agencies. Approximately 8,700 educators serve more than 86,000 DoDEA students.

Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)
The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, world-wide organization, focused on ensuring quality educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and transition.

Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission
The goal of the compact is to replace the widely varying policies affecting transitioning military students. The compact leverages consistency: It uses a comprehensive approach that provides a consistent policy in every school district and in every state that chooses to join. The compact addresses key educational transition issues encountered by military families including enrollment, placement, attendance, eligibility and graduation.

National Center for PTSD
This center conducts research and education on the prevention, understanding, and treatment of PTSD.

National Resource Directory
Provides access to more than 11,000 services and resources that support wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, their families, and those who support them in recovery, rehabilitation, and community reintegration.

This site provides information on scholarships and financial aid for those seeking help to complete their higher education. An easy-to-use site with answers for everyone.
