Military families are getting hit hard by the budget cuts caused by sequestration and support seems to be eroding on all sides. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and launched a campaign to #EndSequestration.

Since 2004 the National Military Family Association has been awarding scholarships to military spouses in search of education or training. Thus far in 2013, our spouse scholarship program awarded $274,500 to 254 military spouses.
2013 FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Accredited Financial Counselor Fellowship Awardees
Fifty military spouses throughout the U.S. and overseas have been awarded the FINRA Investor Education Foundation's 2013 Military Spouse Fellowship. The fellowship provides spouses with the training they need to earn the Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) designation.

Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island is located in Northwest Washington, 90 minutes from Seattle. Home to both the Navy and Marines training command for Prowlers and Growlers, the island is brimming with activities for those who love the outdoors. The Naval Air Station (“NAS”) offers many activities for the military families that are fortunate to call this island home for their assigned tour.
