For more than 80 years, YMCA Camp Chandler has been dedicated to developing well rounded, fun-loving young leaders through a combination of world-class counselors, more than 100 acres of natural, lake-front setting, and outrageous challenges on land and water. Living close to nature and learning new skills daily instills confidence and a sense of wonder in each camper creating lifelong memories. Our waterfront features a high-impact set of activities including the BLOB, swimming area with slide, jumping tower, and rope swing, a wonderful fleet of sailboats, canoes, kayaks, war canoes and pedal boats, skiing and tubing, and an opportunity to fish in Lake Jordan. Land activities include horseback riding, archery, riflery, arts and crafts, climbing wall, ropes course, and open green for sports and games. Campers and staff are housed in air-conditioned cabins with built-in bunk beds and feature a centrally located bathhouse. Our dining hall serves healthy, well-balanced meals with choices for eaters of all types. Each camp experience is designed to be safe and fun, and we are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association.
