The mission of this scholarship program is to help prepare military spouses for meaningful employment, and to better contribute to their family’s financial security. In addition to the Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Spouse Scholarships, applicants are eligible for school specific scholarships offered by our partner colleges and universities. These scholarships are only available to registered applicants of the Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Spouse Scholarships. Master’s Level Programs
Designed for social workers who want to make a difference in their communities, the MSW@USC is University of Southern California School of Social Work’s accredited Master of Social Work delivered online. The program features live online classes and hands-on field experiences in students’ own communities. Classes are taught online in an engaging, collaborative classroom by supportive USC School of Social Work faculty, so students do not need to relocate to earn this top-ranked degree.
With the MSW@USC, students can:
- Complete fieldwork in their local community.
- Meet the needs of military service members and their families through a specialization in Military Social Work.
- Join the USC community with all the support services of USC’s on-campus MSW, including access to the alumni network of 300,000 graduates worldwide.
Program applicants are eligible to receive a $7,500 when they are accepted and enroll in the MSW@USC program.

Degree seeking and Non-degree seeking certifications
