Buddy Camp

Buddy Camp

Operation Purple Buddy Camp is a weekend-long camp program that celebrates the fact that Military Kids Serve Too! and they are supported by many of the adults in their lives! Buddy Camp is for military-connected children and a same gender adult. The adult can be mom or dad, grandparent or guardian.  The goal of the buddy camp is to provide a one on one bonding and resiliency-strengthening experience for younger children ages 5-8 and their adult “buddy”. It’s also an opportunity for family members to celebrate their military service together or learn more about the military-connected child and lifestyle they support.

Operation Purple Buddy Camp is open to ALL military kids from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Air Force, both active duty and reserve component, as well as families of the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
