Russ has been an Volunteer for the National Military Family Association since 2006. In 2013, he served on the Illinois Joining Community Forces task force in order to connect military families with local resources. As a great networker, he helped raise awareness about Association’s resources with military families in his civilian community.
Mary Scott, Chairman, Board of Governors
Mason Neck, VA
Mary began with the Association in 1996 as a Volunteer and since 2009 has been the Chairman of the Board of Governors. She takes an active role in all Association Committees, speaks on behalf of the Association at events, and is very visible with the staff and Volunteer Corps. She is an avid Volunteer and truly believes in the spirit of volunteerism.
Tom Stanners, Board of Governors
Tom became a Volunteer with our Association in 2002 and has worked for more than 10 years to help develop fundraising and membership program policies addressing short-term program needs and positioning the Association for long-term viability. Tom’s influence has been critical to the financial growth of the organization. Tom serves on the Development/Membership, Governance, Finance, Planning, and Executive Committees.
