Below are examples of employment support available to military spouses off the installation.
The Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP), previously known as the Army Spouse Employment Partnership, was expanded by the Department of Defense in July 2011 to serve Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard spouses. MSEP provides a digital recruiting platform, offering direct access to job seeking military spouses.
Military Spouse Career Center is a partnership between Department of Defense (DoD) and Monster.com to provide virtual career networking services and employment information to military spouses. Log on to http://www.military.com/spouse to begin your search.
Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) is a non-profit military employment assistance program with memoranda of agreement with all branches of the Military Services. MSCCN networks nationwide employers including those with work-from home jobs (many with benefits) to military spouses, transitioning military, war wounded and their caregivers, and all other military-affiliated job seekers. Military to Medicine® combines healthcare training and career opportunities to enhance the lives of military families. Whether you have healthcare experience or are looking for training so you can start a career in healthcare – Military to Medicine has the place for you. Military to Medicine serves military spouses, wounded warriors and their caregivers, Veterans, National Guard, Reserve and their spouses, and service members transitioning to civilian employment. Military to Medicine has a scholarship program to help participates complete the training course.
