Supporting Your Family

Together we're stronger

With more than one-half of all service members married, the military has come to realize that in order to recruit and retain valuable military personnel, “quality of life” issues matter. For many military families, the ability of spouses to supplement family income and develop a career of their own is a key factor in deciding whether or not to stay in the military. To paraphrase the Secretary of the Army, “We recruit service members, but we retain families.” The information found here is designed to familiarize you with the tools available to assist military spouses and their families with employment, finances, and moving.
