Defense Center of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE)

DCoE created Children of Military Service Members Resource Guide. An online resource to assist families and health care providers address the mental and emotional health needs of military children. 

Families OverComing Under Stress (FOCUS)

FOCUS is a Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) project providing resiliency training to military children and families through the support from DoD Office of Family Policy. It teaches skills to help families meet the challenges of deployment and reintegration.

Military Kids Connect (MKC)

MKC is a Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) National Center for Telehealth & Technology (T2) website providing military children from the ages of 6-17 access to age appropriate resources to support children from pre-deployment through the parent’s or caregivers return.

Sesame Street

Sesame Street has developed a series of videos for military families to help them deal with military life.  The videos are: Coping With Changes; When Families Grieve; Homecomings Family Routines; and Preparing for Deployment. You can access the videos at: www.sesameworkshop.org/initiatives/emotion/tlc. They developed Military Families Near and Far, Families Near and Far, and Feel Electric! They also created an app Sesame Street for Military Families.

Zero to Three

The Coming Together Around Military Children program provides resources for the parents of our youngest military children.
