Deadline for Overseas Holiday Shipping Nears

With the holiday season approaching, the Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA), a component of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), has recommended that packages being shipped to service members overseas should be mailed by November 12 to ensure they are delivered on time.  MPSA released a chart that shows deadlines for various mailing options to APO/FPO/DPO destinations.

Additionally, USPS is offering a $2 discount on its largest Priority Mail Flat Rate box when used for shipping to APO/FPO/DPO destinations worldwide. Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes are available at local post offices, or can be ordered from USPS online. Postage, labels, and customs forms are all available online, as are guidelines and restrictions for shipments to APO/FPO/DPO destinations.
