Walgreens is no longer a part of the TRICARE retail pharmacy network as of January 1, 2012. Beneficiaries impacted include those who are currently using Walgreens to fill their medication prescriptions or those who occasionally use Walgreens for services, such as a seasonal flu shot. (More)

President Says Troops Coming Home From Iraq

As military family members ourselves, the National Military Family Association rejoices with the families of the service members who will be returning from Iraq by the end of the year. We’ve all experienced that wonderful homecoming, the relief of stress as we realize our loved one is out of danger, and the hope of resuming a “normal” family life. But, while this may seem like the end of the war for many Americans, that’s just not so for military families. New TRICARE Prime Enrollees See Premium Increase

Beneficiaries may be hearing about changes to the enrollment fee for TRICARE Prime. Right now only military retirees that are just enrolling for the first time will be impacted by the increase in the annual fee.
