Volunteer Program
As kids we had dreams of growing up to be teachers, doctors, firefighters, or in some cases, our favorite super hero. Isn't it interesting that even as children, we recognized the great importance of leadership and service? As adults most of us don't develop superhuman powers, but we all have the opportunity to become community leaders through dedicated service.
Do you ever wish you could serve your community, work with causes that meet your interests and passions, and add valuable experiences to your career? Our Volunteer Corps is the place for you!
We take great pride in being able to make the voices of our military families heard, and our Volunteers are the crucial link between their needs and the Association's ability to take action. As we are a Volunteer led organization, a pillar of our Association is making sure that our Volunteers and Representatives are incorporated in a high functioning system designed to maintain recruitment, retention, and training programs that sustain our Volunteer Corps. Whether you are stationed on Guam or living in Texas, there is a place for you in our Corps of more than 200 Volunteers and Representatives around the world.
Our Volunteer Corps consists of dedicated Volunteers that serve families of all seven Uniformed Services by attending events on behalf of the Association, assisting with special projects, observing and reporting happenings in the military community, and many more exciting endeavors. In addition, our Representatives are specialized Volunteers that serve as liaisons between the Association and their communities and work with organization and community leaders to improve the quality of life for military families.
Come join us! Your efforts can improve the lives of many!
