The partnership is part of the Association’s scholarship program, which provides valuable professional development opportunities to military spouses.

Qualified applicants will receive scholarships should they enroll in one of the following top-tier, online master’s degree programs:

  • Georgetown University: Nursing@Georgetown: Master of Science degree in Nursing from Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies ($7,500)
  • University of Southern California

Each program offers a high-quality, online experience for students to pursue a graduate degree in their field of choice without having to relocate. These scholarships align well with the Association’s interest in helping prepare military spouses find meaningful employment so they can better contribute to their family’s financial security.

“Social work, teaching and nursing are three fields where military spouses can really excel because there’s a huge need for those professions across the country,” said National Military Family Association Executive Director Joyce Raezer. “No matter how many moves you make or where those moves take you, there are always job opportunities for people with those degrees.”
